Black Friday is the best time of year to buy the expensive parts of a matcha setup. Matcha powder is a consumable and rarely sees big cuts, but kettles, frothers and machines are kitchen appliances, and those are exactly what Amazon discounts in late November. This guide is the shortlist: the matcha products from our buying guides that are worth buying if the price drops, with the price each one sells for today. Use it as a watchlist now, and come back in mid-November, when we add the actual deals.

Deals are not live yet. Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday is Monday 30 November 2026. This guide lists the products worth watching and what they cost today, so you can tell a real discount from a fake one. We will update it with the actual deals in mid-November.

Cuzen Matcha Maker Starter Kit Biggest Possible Saving
Matcha machine · grinds whole leaf to order

The most expensive item here and the one where a percentage discount saves the most money. The Cuzen grinds whole shade-grown tea leaves into matcha on demand and then whisks it, so the matcha is minutes old instead of months. Two things to know before buying, deal or not: it uses Cuzen's own leaf refills, so you are committing to an ongoing supply, and it suits someone who already drinks matcha daily. Our matcha machine guide compares it with simpler options.

Fellow Stagg EKG Pro Best Kettle to Watch
Variable-temperature gooseneck kettle · brew timer

Water temperature is the most common reason home matcha tastes bitter, and a variable-temperature kettle fixes it for good. The Stagg EKG Pro is the benchmark gooseneck, with precise temperature hold and a brew timer. It is rarely discounted outside the holiday season, which makes Black Friday the time to buy it.

Nespresso Aeroccino XL Best Latte Upgrade
Automatic milk frother · hot and cold foam

For anyone who drinks matcha lattes, an automatic frother makes café-style milk foam at the press of a button. The Aeroccino XL is Nespresso's larger frother, sold by Amazon.com, and works with any milk you would use in a latte. Nespresso machines and accessories are regular Black Friday features.

Jade Leaf Ceremonial Grade Matcha (30g tin) Best Powder to Stock Up
Ceremonial grade · Japanese matcha · 30g tin

Jade Leaf is one of the most widely sold Japanese matcha brands on Amazon and a sensible everyday ceremonial matcha. If it is discounted, buy what you will use in two or three months rather than a year's worth: matcha loses flavour once opened, so a smaller fresh tin beats a big cheap one.

Encha Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha (30g) Premium Powder Pick
Organic ceremonial grade · 30g

Encha is an organic ceremonial matcha and a step up for drinking matcha plain with water. It is a good candidate for a Black Friday stock-up or a stocking filler. See our ceremonial matcha guide for how it compares.

Zulay Kitchen Handheld Milk Frother Best Small Buy
Handheld frother · battery powered

A handheld frother is the cheapest useful matcha tool: it dissolves matcha into water or milk in seconds without clumps. The Zulay is one of the most popular on Amazon. It is inexpensive at any time of year, so a small Black Friday cut is a bonus rather than a reason to wait.

What actually gets discounted

Black Friday discounts are deepest on appliances: kettles, frothers, blenders and matcha machines. Matcha powder itself is sometimes discounted, but cuts are usually smaller, and some brands do not take part at all. If you are planning a bigger purchase, such as a temperature-control kettle or the Cuzen, that is where waiting for the sale makes sense.

Frequently asked questions

When is Black Friday 2026?

Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November, the day after Thanksgiving in the US (Thursday 26 November). Cyber Monday follows on Monday 30 November. In recent years Amazon has started its Black Friday sale several days before Thanksgiving week and run it through Cyber Monday.

Does matcha go on sale on Black Friday?

Some matcha brands discount on Amazon during Black Friday, but cuts on powder are usually smaller than on appliances. The bigger savings are on matcha equipment: temperature-control kettles, milk frothers and matcha machines such as the Cuzen.

How do I know if a Black Friday matcha deal is real?

Compare the sale price with what the product sold for in October, not with the crossed-out list price, which can be inflated. Every card in this guide shows the price we checked in October 2026. For matcha powder, also check the tin size and harvest or best-before date: a discount on old stock or a smaller tin is not a saving.

Should I stock up on matcha powder on Black Friday?

Only within reason. Matcha loses colour and flavour within a few weeks to a few months of opening, so buy what you will use soon and store unopened tins somewhere cool and dark. A discount is not a saving if the tea goes stale before you drink it.
